Surface Restoration
Decades of natural wear and tear can be easily restored by abrasive blasting. After so many years of nature taking its toll, its easy to forget how beautiful the original surface use to look. Even humans can be ruthless, applying layer after layer of paint coatings to a surface without ever cleaning or clearing. Next thing you know you have a 1-inch-thick layer of paint that pretty much feels and acts like rubber. With the proper media, sandblasting can restore, shape, and clean the surface back to its natural or desired look.
Sandblast finish
Different abrasives will provide different results, and each can provide its own unique finish. Sandblasting a surface will give it a unique result not achievable by other methods. Walnut shells are one of the softest medium, used to remove paint from surfaces without the pitting. Steel grit is used on thicker metal panels, like tanks, to remove the rust and corrosion more effectively so that the metal panel has a new layer of adhesion for the sealer to grab on to. This new layer will give the new finish an extended life.
Surface Preparation
Abrasive blasting prepares the surface for its next phase by removing previous coatings, grease, and dirt all while giving that surface a refreshed bond for the new application to stick to. This new bond gives the next layer of coating an extended and more durable life.
